The Team

Alexandros Tsingos- CEO (Philosopher )

Alexandros calls the shots here at 3D Pioneer. With a strong background in finance and accounting he has started various businesses with experience spanning health, media biotechnology and banking industries. Becoming a leader in the 3D printing and adjacent industries is the next mission, and that’s exactly what we at 3D Pioneer are aiming to achieve.

Brendon Grunewald – COO (Rainmaker )

Brendon is a leader with a rare combination of strategy, business development, operational, financial and deal negotiation skills combined with a unique mix of corporate, high growth company and turnaround management. He is also an absolute boss on the barbeque. Both his fantastically BBQed steaks and motivational drive serve this company very well indeed!

Ivan Gill – Product Manager: 3D Printers (Strategist )

A well-travelled 3D printing enthusiast who is known for his strategic approach to problem solving, Ivan has been working on the projects that form 3D Pioneers original portfolio of 3D printing products and services from their conception, making him the first employee of this business.

Conrad Zammit – Director Printer Development (Creator )

Conrad, also known as “The Rad” is our problem solver. Not only does he run the development of our 3D printer, The Wyatt, but he also runs the Friday vibes of the office with motivational speeches and uplifting selection of tunes to keep our productivity levels pumping into the weekend. Coffee has gone cold? Use the tried and tested Rad system: Microwave, 20 seconds.

Christopher Curmi – Creative Director (Drei D Kuenstler )

Chris brings a world of creativity to the 3D pioneer group and makes sure that everything we do looks super hot. He’s extremely time efficient and an ambassador of style who consistently delivers design elegance – either of the above statements may have something to do with the fact that he’s German.

Jennifer Wardell – Product Manager: Games (Queen of the universe )

It’s safe to say that Jenni is as confident as her vibrant hair colour suggests. On one hand, Jenni is super passionate about troll cats and video gaming, while on the other hand, she’s very organized and driven by delivering results – making her a natural fit as product manager of our games department.

Shaun Camilleri – Team Lead Games Development (Fun maker )

Shaun once stated, “There is very little I can’t do in Unity!” Although this sounds like a massive claim, he’s proven that bold statement to be true. When he’s not busy on Tangled Tut’s development, he is battling it out on Clash of Clans while waiting for the next Game of Thrones episode to come out.

Liam Colclough – Business Manager (Go-getter )

Liam is the man who makes things happen. He’s got a serious ability to get things done both efficiently and effectively. He loves sports, but even more when he’s got a cheeky bet down on the game. As an avid gamer and lover of all things tech, Liam fits perfectly in his key role in making sure the company runs smoothly.

Kaiman Brown – Senior Developer (Code monkey )

Kaiman never says the same number consecutively when asked his age but the figure always tends to range from 25-30, we’ve got to the bottom of this and can now reveal that he is in fact 27. He’s got a passion for most types of food and League of Legends. Aside from developing Appaloza, he also designs incredible levels for our games.

Matthew Zammit – Senior Developer (Commander of code )

Matthew is from an even smaller island than Malta, called Gozo. Stories have been told that Matt was involved in the writing the source code of the moon, what we are able to publicly confirm is that this is highly plausible based on his work on developing Appaloza.

Kyle Grech – Illustrator (Digital painter )

Kyle is 1/4th of the first ever quadruplet siblings to be born in Malta. Few men have the privilege of having 3 twin sisters – but this man does! Kyle gets most of his inspiration from literature by Lovecraft and Poe. He considered a career path as a magician but quickly realized that illustration was more for him!

Joshua O’Cock – Community and Social Media Manager (People person )

Josh builds and nurtures our communities around the main sectors of the business and gets our products known and talked about across various channels and shares our company with the public. Hence he is awkwardly writing this blurb about himself. At risk of being called up on his big ego, he’s decided that keeping this short is probably the best option.

Marc Alan Spiteri – Engineer (Catalyst )

Marc Alan is a rare breed of talent. He plays 5 instruments as fluently as he speaks 3 languages, not including coding languages. When he’s not rocking the stage with his band and signing autographs for his fans he’s focused on developing a bridge to allow our hardware and our software to communicate.
