Hello from Dawn Robotics

Well, the forums are now up and running, so I thought I'd make the first post and introduce myself. I'm Alan Broun, managing director of Dawn Robotics Ltd.

Now, with Dawn Robotics, we don't just want to sell you stuff (although it would be nice to keep a roof over our heads). We also want to build a community of people interested in learning about, talking about, and building robots. The future, where we have a robot in every home, has been predicted, and talked about for a long time now. But it seems to be taking ages to arrive, so we'd like to do our bit to hurry it along.

So, great to have you on board! Please introduce yourself here, let us know what you're interested in, and what you're working on.
