Thank you for your order (it should be shipped out tomorrow - Monday) and welcome to the forums. :)

This post on the Raspberry Pi blog details the major changes from rev1 to rev2.

The main issues you'll need to account for when using the rev1 Pi are

    * No mounting holes - so you'll need to improvise a bit when attaching the Pi to the chassis. You may be able to use the standoffs in the Raspberry Pi Fixing set to grip the Pi from the side
    * Current limiting fuses on the USB ports - This may be your biggest problem as the USB ports may not be able to provide enough power to run a WiFi USB dongle - people on the Raspberry Pi forum can provide advice about removing the fuses if needed

If you can work around those issues though, then the robot should work with your Pi.

Regards

Alan

I bough this http://www.dawnrobotics.co.uk/raspberry ... is-bundle/. Just cannot wait to see it coming ;). My order ID is #800.

Can I use Model B Rev1 with it? I knew the requirement specified the Rev2. I just curious. I had 2 extra Rev 1, if this's possible I can just use them. To my limited knowledge, the different are on GPIO. The connection between Pi and your mini driver is via USB. Therefore, in theory, I should have no problem to use the Rev 1, right?

Thanks.
