Sorry to hear you're having problems. It's wierd that we WiFi goes down after just a few minutes. What device and browser are you using to connect to the robot?

Also, a few things to check/try.

* Have you expanded the filesystem (by running sudo raspi-config) with the new SD card image?
* Do you have a power adaptor (wall plug) that you could run your Pi from (just while we debug this)?
* Are you able to connect to the Pi with ethernet and ssh in? That way we could check if the robot is still running when the WiFi goes down.

Regards

Alan

Tested with multiple wifi dongles including the edimax dongle as suggested
Swapped out the batter pack for a high power RC racing battery pack of the same voltage to eliminate low battery as a cause
Swapped out the Rpi with two other new boards
It came with a pre loaded SD card, I have downloaded and flashed a new 8GB card with the latest image and tested again as above
Tested in various locations to rule out any environmental causes

As of today the buggy will power up, work correctly for maybe a minute or two and then the wifi stops working, if I gently try to move the pan tilt I can feel the servos are working but nothing else is.

I've run out of ideas and things to try so any ideas anyone has will be much appreciated
