When the unit is powered up, it boots ok, wifi appears and I can connect from my laptop or phone just fine. Everything works for a minute or two then the wifi stops. A reboot has it working for a minute or two and then nothing again. To try and find the problem I have

Swapped out the original edimax wifi dongle with two others
Tried two other new RPi's
Downloaded the latest version of the buggy image and flashed it to a new card
Swapped out the battery pack for a high power RC racing pack of the same voltage to make sure it isn't a flat battery problem
Gently trying to move the pan \ tilt I can feel the servos working so that suggests the application is still running

I'm fresh out of ideas so any suggestions would be appreciated
