Ah, now that's interesting, for other people watching I've uploaded the image as an attachment. I need to check to see if users can do this. :)

I thought that the file mmal/mmal.h should have been downloaded when you ran the following steps

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install rpi-update
sudo rpi-update e65b8c992ad0c2486e172aee1e2b1e98d623d782

although I need to check on a Pi tomorrow to confirm this. Could you try running those commands again (looking for any errors in the output) and trying to build raspberry_pi_camera_streamer again please?

Cheers

Alan

Also, with regards to the switch, getting hot is normal as it's right next to the linear voltage regulator powering the entire robot. A linear voltage regulator is not very efficient I'm afraid, and we could probably get a bit more battery life with something better, but Dagu have alread squeezed quite a lot into the mini driver for the price. :)
