English: Category:Activities. For the purposes of this category, an activity is defined as something done as an action or a movement.

A photo that contains a man fishing need not be a photo of a man, nor of a boat, nor of a rod and reel, nor of a fish; it might be an illustration of the activity of fishing. It is quite possible to discuss the activity distinct from man, boat, or even fish. A photo of a bear fishing in a stream for crabs would belong equally well to fishing, itself a subcategory of activities.

Before placing content here, consider the vast range of activities, and whether a subcategory might be profitably employed.
Nederlands: Categorie:Activiteiten. Voor deze categorie wordt hiermee bedoeld: iets dat wordt gedaan zoals het uitvoeren van een bezigheid, werk, handeling of een beweging.

Een foto van een vissende man is niet slechts een foto 'van' een man, boot, vishengel of een vis, het is ook een illustratie van de bezigheid 'vissen'. Het is heel wel mogelijk de activiteit los te zien van de man, de boot etc. Een foto van een beer die in een rivier zalmen probeert te vangen, past evengoed in de catoegorie:visvangen, die opzichzelf een subcategorie van de 'Categorie:Activiteiten' kan vormen.

Er is een grote verscheidenheid aan activiteiten. Bekijk, alvorens hier een bestand te plaatsen, of het bestand past in een al bestaande subcategorie.
