Norway[edit]

  • The Lyngen protected area is a mountainous area that includes glaciers, mores, valleys and geological instances. The biodiversity, cultural heritage and cultural impact characterizes the landscape. Conservation of natural resources in the field of landscaping is important for Sámi culture. The area is available for reindeer husbandry.

  • Sassen – Bünsow Land National Park lies on Spitsbergen island in the Svalbard archipelago. The Svalbard reindeer is well adapted to the harsh climate, and is the most northern living herbivore mammal in the world. They remain short-legged and have a relatively small, rounded, head. Their fur is also lighter in colour and thicker during winter.

  • Jotunheimen (“Home of the Giants”) National Park is recognized as one of the Norway's premier hiking and fishing regions. The national park includes Northern Europe's two highest peaks: Galdhøpiggen at 2,469 metres, and Glittertind at 2,465 metres.
