Deutsch: Der flächenmäßig größte und längste Gletscher der Alpen: der Aletschgletscher, fotografiert vom Eggishorn, Wallis, Schweiz. Berge von links: Aletschhorn (4193m), Olmenhorn (3314m) in der Bildmitte, links davon (vom Betrachter aus) der Mittelaletschgletscher. Dann Mönch, Trugberg (3933m), Eiger (der felsige). Im ganz rechten Grat zum nicht mehr sichtbaren Wannenhorn: Chamm (3866m, das markante Horn), Fiescher Gabelhorn (3876m) und Schönbühlhorn (3854m).
