Description
English: Castelsarrasin, Tarn-et-Garonne. Town hall. Building built between 1823 and 1825 by architect Rivet. The pediment has an illuminating clock manufactured by the greatest watchmaker of the time, the Parisian Lepaute, in 1847; this clock is framed by the statues of Minerva (trade) and Ceres (agriculture), work of the Toulouse sculptor Palat.
