File:Congress Members per Million (2010 Census Apportionment).png

Summary[edit]
Description |
English: This graph shows the large disparity in voting power per citizen within the US Senate, with people in a state like Wyoming having more than 66 times the voting power than those in California. This graph also overlays the situation in the US House of Representatives, which gives far more equal representation per citizen. The states are listed by order of most populous to least populous. Not depicted in this graph is the non-voting representation situation of those within the District of Columbia as well as territories of the United States.
The data graphed is that of US congressional apportionment based upon the 2010 Census. |
