Description
English: An attraction of Banff National Park in the Canadian province of Alberta: the turquoise Peyto Lake seen from a viewpoint at Icefields Parkway. This water colour is caused by glacier water, carrying what is often called 'rock flour' (tiny particles causing the water to become more opaque).
Français : Une attraction du parc national de Banff situé dans la province canadienne Alberta: le lac Peyto avec sa couleur turquiose vu d'un point de vue à la Promenade des Glaciers. Cette couleur extraordinaire de l'eau est provoquée par l'eau glaciaire.
