Summary[edit]

Description
English: The court received numerous letters in response to the unanimous Hustler v. Falwell opinion. While some applauded the decision, many suggested the justices had abdicated any sense of moral responsibility. In this letter, the writer describes the ruling as "repugnant" to anyone holding Judeo-Christian values. Referencing the Roe v. Wade ruling, the author asserts "in 1973 . . . nine judges decided who should live. In 1988 . . . nine judges decided how society should live."
