Description
English: Sebastopol (Crimea, Ukraine). Ruins of Chersonesos Taurica. Basilica in basilica - a medieval church in the Chersonesos Taurica - city, founded by the ancient Greeks in the south-west coast of the Crimea (now - in the National Museum "Chersonesos Taurica"). Temple got its name from the fact that at one point had been built two temples - the second was built on the ruins of the first of its wreckage.
Français : Ruines de Chersonèsos, une ville fondée par les grecs anciens et aujourd'hui intégrée dans la ville de Sebastopol, en Crimée (Ukraine) : La basilique dans une basilique. Cette église médiévale a été construite dans les ruines d'une basilique plus ancienne, d'où le nom.
Русский: Базилика в базилике — средневековый храм на территории Херсонеса — города, основанного древними греками на юго-западном побережье Крыма (в настоящее время — на территории национального музея-заповедника «Херсонес Таврический»). Своё название храм получил из-за того, что на одном месте было построено два храма — второй строился на руинах первого из его обломков.
