Summary[edit]

Description
English: The vaulted nave of Hagia Sophia Church in Sofia. Dating to the 6th century CE (reconstructed in 20th century). Byzantine style. In the 14th century, the church gave its name to the nowadays Bulgarian capital that was previously known as Sredets and Serdika.
Български: Сводестият таван на главния кораб в църквата Света София в София. Датирана към VI век, основно реконструирана през ХХ век. Византийски стил. През XIV век, църквата дава името си на българската столица известна до тогава с имената Средец и Сердика.
