| Purana tigrina is a species of cicada in the genus Purana found in Southeast Asia. This is a newly emerged female. After moulting, they will find a suitable place and hang vertically. Their wings need to be inflated with fluid and their skin will harden prior to making the maiden flight. |

| Purana tigrina es una especie de cigarra del género Purana nativa del Sudeste Asiático. Esta es una hembra recién emergida. Después de la muda, buscan un lugar adecuado y se colgarán verticalmente.
