Hi tk35,

Unfortunately, current firmware on PLEN2's head-board doesn't have a function that communicates to any other devices.
The firmware is also open-sourced. Please try to customize it if you want to do that :)

Please check reply #4 and #5 on the topic.

Incidentally, You cannot move servos to supply energy from only USB, because servos use a lot of direct current.
(USB can supply typically max 0.5A only. Also it is the reason that we have not implemented charging method via USB.)

> 3) How to charge PLEN once the chasis is fully mounted?
We have supposed that users unmount the chassis and connect the AC adapter directly when users would like to charge a battery.
(The method has been adopted many products, for example, multicopters, radio-control toys, and so on.)

Hi, Sembot.

Firstly sorry to say we moved the category of this topic, but we thought more accurate that there is the post in this category.

1; We have confused why they are using Arduino Mega. (We are using Atmega32u4, it's not Arduino Mega.)
However, it's easy that you are porting Atmega32u4's firmware to Arduino Mega (Atmega2560).

Please connect servos through 3bit multiplexer x3, and signal sauce lines connect to Digital pin 11, Digital pin 12, and Digital pin 13.
Bit-select pins connect to any Digital pin x3 you choose. (You must modify Pin.h, s.a. : https://github.com/plenproject/plen__fi … ware/Pin.h)

2; In that repository, some *.stl are merged we think, so you have got everything you need.

Hi,
Do you mean it is the BOM of electronic components?
Best.

#8 Re: Any Questions » 3D model for SolidWorks » 2015-09-07 10:23:22

Hi,
Thank you for your opinion.
It is good news for us that Autodesk Fusion 360 could open SolidWorks files.

We will update the beta version of SolidWorks data in Mid-September. In that time, you can see assembly files and STL files.
But I am afraid we don't have a plan to provide STEP and Parasolid files. Sorry for the inconvenience and we would appreciate your kind understanding.
