Below is the list of file types, formats and codecs supported by the current version of Slideshow software:

Image | jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, gif, webp, svg, heic, heif | JPEG, PNG, Bitmap, GIF, WebP, SVG, HEIC/HEIF (only on Android 9+) | Files with resolution more than twice the size of the panel are first scaled down, in order to save the memory. See https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media/media-formats#image-formats for more details. Animated GIFs are not supported, only static GIF image will be displayed. |

Excel | xls, xlsx | Excel 97-2003, Excel 2007 and newer (only on Android 5+) | It is possible to change styling of the table via web interface, menu Settings – Device settings – CSS style for XLS. |
Link | url | URL link file containing shortcut to web page or text file with single line containing web page URL. Only pages which are succesfuly loaded are displayed. | |

Archive | zip, tar, ar | ZIP (Store, Deflate or Deflate64), TAR, AR | Used just for downloading/synchronizing multiple files together. Archive files are always unpacked at the beginning. |

Slideshow distinguish various file types only by the file name extension. If any uploaded file is not displayed, check if it’s file extension is listed in the table above. File name extension is case-insensitive (doesn’t matter if they are in upper or lower case).
