I am also designing SLA printer based on 2K LCD. Could you please tell me, what is focal length for your Fresnel Lens & from where you have purchased it ?

When I keep the LCD on the top of 100 W LED, due to polarizer reflection most of the UV light gets blocked/reflected and hence I am unable to get good intensity on top of the LCD. How can we overcome this issue ?

Will a Fresnel Lens with 10 cm focal length be able diffuse the light so that we get equal intensity on each section of LCD ?

Thank You!!

This is not an issue related to SLAcer.js. Be free to ask this kind of questions on the uTopia printer project page or on the OpenSLA community page.

That said, the focal length of my fresnel lens is 60mm, and it only serves to straighten the rays before the LCD (it probably also blocks some UV light), I do not know where I had recovered it (5 or 6 years ago), but you can find it everywhere (ebay). Ideally the focal length of the fresnel should coincide with the focal length of the collimating lens.

Peace ;)
