#1 Feature Requests » Calibration of bridges/gaps » 2017-05-23 21:15:31

It would be very useful if the exposure time calibration would also allow to perform a calibration of bridges (raised gaps), as the calibration method of Creation Workshop: The print starts with a grid structure something like several joined capital H, something like HHHH but without the gaps in between each letter. After a few millimetres of such structure, the gaps on top and bottom of the H are closed (or bridged) with one single layer with different exposure times for each gap. This way, the user can determine what is the minimum exposure time required to solidly generate a layer of the given layer size of the print.

Let me know if this is something you envision for the future.

Thanks!!

#2 Help and Support » Dynamic calculation of Delay » 2017-05-18 21:19:23

I was wondering if it is possible to compute a delay command dynamically in a G-code field, for example:

[[Delay ([[ZLiftDistance]]/[[ZSpeed]] + 0.1)]] ; Wait for the movement finished

instead of just [[Delay 2]] which works.

The above does not seem to work for me...

Thanks!

#3 Re: Feature Requests » Layer Preview add Scale and/or rotate » 2017-05-16 08:13:47

I'm also having the same issue...

The raspberry pi does not seem to like the exchanged width/height resolution, so nothing is displayed when I changed this in config.txt...

The problem is that the display is 1440 x 2560 (width x height), and so NanoDLP displays it correctly (tall on the page), which makes it impossible to view the layers without scrolling. With a projector this would not be an issue since once can configure NanoDLP to display 2560x1440 (width x height) and then the projector controls can be used to display the correct orientation in the printer, but with an LCD this is not possible, there are no additional controls! Since the raspberry pi does not like a 2560x1440 display, (width x height), then there is no solution other than allowing NanoDLP to preview rotated and/or scaled.

Also, is there a way to step through the layers using the keyboard? this is not working for me... using Google Chrome on a Mac...

Thanks!

#4 Re: Feature Requests » Compatibility with Creation Workshop Scene files » 2017-04-10 20:42:51

Thanks!
It works in the sense that it uses the slice images, but it does not use the slicing profile from creation workshop (layer height, exposure time, lift sequence, etc.), which is present inside the CWS scenes. Any suggestions other than creating a slicing profile that matches the one in CWS?

Thanks again!

can nanoDLP somehow print creation workshop sliced models?  is it foreseen to include this feature?

It would be very useful to be able to slice models with creation workshop and print them with nanoDLP.

Thanks in advance.
