I reduced the top and bottom cap to 5 layers and with 1641 it works fine.
Michael
you should have received an e-mail now.
Hi Shahin,
I was using 10 layers top and bottom cap. How can I attach a file here?
Michael
also, memory is not released after slicing operations has been completed. CPU goes down to 0%, but memory remains at 93%.
I am using 1640.... also, with 1589 the CPU is at 87% and memory is at 93% when I create a plate with hexagonal infill. But with 1589 the gui remains responsive, with 1640 it gets unresponsive quickly and then it does not load anymore. It doesn't come back even after hours, so reinstalling the latest stable version via Putty is the only thing to recover from that state, as far as I know.
Michael
I have to change my previous statement. I can see a massive spike in memory consumption when I process a plate with hexagonal infill.
Even though the stl's are quite small, the box almost comes to an halt when processing the plate.
CPU shows at 166%, memory at 95%
STL was just 390 KB large, but I was using infill.
Update: on 1640 I am running without issues.
Michael
Hi Shahin,
I installed 1635 and again the gui gets unresosponsive and app seems to hang and not react. What file do you need? I cannot pull the debug log from the gui apparently, as I can do nothing. Currently I am not abel to login to the pi as well, probably becasue the whole system hangs. I will reboot later, so I hope I can log on again via putty.
Tell me what file I should pull via putty to provide to you.
Thx,
Michael
Hi Shahin,
I am travelling right now and I did a reinstall of the latest stable version twice, so not sure whether the debug file ha sbeen purged. I will install latest beta version and procide feedback.
Cheers,
Michael
I simply reinstalled from the pi terminal with (wget https://www.nanodlp.com/nanodlp.tar.gz --no-check-certificate -O - | tar -C /home/pi -xz);cd /home/pi/printer;sudo ./setup.sh and it worked again, all settings preserved and ready to go.
I believe the latest beta 1635 caused my issues. After going back to 1538 I again installed the latest beta and issues started again.
Hi,
since 1635 I have massive connection issues and my plate creation process repeatedly crashes. No issues with 1589.
Please look into it.
Thanks,
Michael
Hi,
I just had some issues with nanodlp not beng responsive and now after 2 reboots, nanodlp is no longer coming up. The pi is available via putty and WinSCP.
Any advice on what to check if nanodlp has become corrupted or repair or reinstall with all my resin settings?
Thanks,
Michael
Infill is on the resin level only, right? No, it is disabled. It took roughly 10 minuts to slice for 1456 layers and not very complex, I would say. I have no hard reference on how long it took on previous beta versions. It is just a butt feeling ;-)
M.
Hi Shahin,
I have the feeling that Beta 1540 is quite slow in extracting layers and slicing. The stl with 1456 layers is taking unusually long.... in fact I am waiting for 10 minutes now. That doesn't sound right, or?
Michael
perfect support, I must say.
Thank you!!
I just updated today from Beta 1535 to 1538 (or 1539, can't remember). It was all fine until I hit the 'Print' button, then nanoDLP crashed repeatedly. After going back to stable version 1529 it was all fine.
Anyone the same issue or just me?
Michael
Ok, I had serial communication issues with 1392, now with 1395 they are gone.
Thanks.
Hi there,
during print operations I find some few errors like that:
External Call Problem exit status 127 sh: 1: lcdmsg.py: not found
Execute Command Without Waiting For the Result lcdmsg.py --msg='Lifting to 14.0000' --line=2
Execute Command Without Waiting For the Result lcdmsg.py --msg='Lifting to 14.0750' --line=2
Do they indicate some issues with the object or what might be the cause of those errors?
Thx,
Michael
