I'm sure that wrong slicing thickness is a gcode issue. I'm not that good with gcode..
So I'm using an external slicer now for better handling. It cost me 100 euro but it's working smooth (fast slicing, no errors during slicing and quick upload to nano).
Then I upload the png files (slices) to nanodlp and print.
Thank you! It's working now.
Hi all,
I am trying to run remote slicer but with no success so far.
Is there a step by step guide on how to do it?
My system is running on RPi 3. I'm running the win version of nanodlp on my PC also for remote slicer assist. My PC communicates wireless with router and RPi 3 through LAN.
How can I find the correct TCP IP port. What is the correct form.
Any help would be great!
I see. I can't have different layer thickness for burn-in and normal layers in the same profile. So if I understand correct, I create a profile for 100 microns then slice the object. I start printing and during printing after 10 layers I change profile to 25 microns and hit recreate. Correct?
I was hoping for an automated procedure but thanks again.
Thanks for the quick replay.
How do I regenerate plate? Is part of the g-code sequence?
Hi all,
I 'm running a system based on arduino mega and ramp 1.4 to drive z axis with one end stop at the bottom (patched marlin firmware) through RPi .The system works.
The problem begins when I put different Layer Thickness in Burn-in Layers option.
Here is an example: I have to slice a cube with 10mm height at 25 microns.
Option 1 [Layer Thickness for Burn-in Layers and Normal Layers are 25 microns each] Slicer calculates 400 layers for total height which is correct.
Option 2 [Layer Thickness 100 microns] for [10 Burn-in Layers] and [25 microns for the Normal Layers] slicer also calculates 400 layers which is wrong. In that case total height is 10.75mm. That means that slicer adds 0.75mm in total height stretching first 10 layers for 0.075mm each.
Is there a problem with my nanodlp settings (G-code) or is a bug through slicer calculations.
Please advise
