The Dagu Rover 5 chassis is a rugged tracked chassis that provides a great base for a mobile robot.

Unlike conventional tracked chassis the clearance can be adjusted by rotating the gearboxes in 5-degree increments. “Stretchy” rubber treads maintain tension as the clearance is raised.

To control this base we recommend the Dagu Explorer PCB coupled with either an Arduino or a Seeeduino

• 2 independent motors, rated for 7.2V with a stall current of 2.5A
• Top speed of 1Km/hr
• Gearboxes with a ratio of 86.8:1. Coupled with the motors these provide a stall torque of 10Kg/cm
• 2 quadrature encoders (1 per track) with a resolution of almost 350 pulses per revolution (of an output shaft)
• 6xAA battery holder (batteries not included)
