When using the Google Assistant in a smartphone, you’re able to ask Google to check, read and reply back to text messages with no problem. Now if you want to reply back to text messages via Google Home, it’s not possible, yet. But, like always we are going to look at how we can alternatively do this using Tasker.

For this project, we are also going to need AutoVoice and the api.ai natural language conversation service.
