In my previous post, we looked at how we could check, read and reply back to text messages via Google Home. Today, I want to show you how to use Google Home to send new text messages to a random number in your contacts list.

Apps needed

For this part of the project, we are also going to use AutoVoice and the api.ai natural language conversation service. To be able to check the phone’s contacts list and get the contact information of the person we would like to message, we are going to use the Query 2.0 feature from AutoContacts.
