This version adds the option for powering LEDs from an alternate supply. Or, solder the small jumper to power them from the receiver as usual.

Small board that allows inline placement of current limiting resistor or a current-limiting IC such as the Diodes Inc AL5809. Output can be JST-PH connector or wires soldered directly to board. Bottom of board is entirely white silkscreen for writing a small note with a fine-tipped Sharpie.
