Simple voltage regulator circuit to be used with a 1085 device and act as a linear BEC for an RC system.
BOM:
One 1085 model low drop voltage regulator (I.e LD1085 with a 5V output voltage), TO-220
Two 10uF Tantalum surface mount capacitors, ~25V max voltage
The backside has no solder mask so you can attach a heat sink as this device will get pretty warm on higher amperages. There are some decent 16x16mm heat sinks that can be bought through Ebay if one wishes.
