No more messing around with power supply parts. This is a complete 1.2A adjustable switching power supply on a chip, with 2 preset voltages. Up to 95% efficient switching voltage regulator, capacitors and all, on an oldschool DIP-8 chip size board. Select 3.3v or 5v built in, or add a single resistor for 0.8v-26v. The entire bottom of the ‘chip’ is an unbroken ground plane, helping to protect your design from power supply switching noise. This is an open source design, and I hope to sell pre-assembled boards. I want to explore a variety of effort saving breakouts in this easy to use DIP form factor. Not done yet, need to add some labels and make a few.
