For the Atari 2600. Based on Victor Trucco’s schematic; this board intercepts the read, write signals from the TIA and 6507. Shorts them to ground which puts the processor in a “HALT"ed state.

TIA Pin 3 (RDY) has to be lifted, but Pin 3 (RDY) of the 6507 stays connected to the board. You can lift TIA Pin 3, but removing resistor R207 is exactly the same as lifting the pin. More advanced install instructions here.
