- Single Triac w/ Opto driver for uC interface
- Q1 ……… MMBT3904 (or SOT-23 equiv. )
- Opto1 …. MOC3062 ( or DIP-6 equiv. )
- L1,R5 …. 33uH, 33 ohm (optional RFC - use jumper wire to bypass)
- C1,R6 …. 0.1uF/250V, 39 ohm
- R5 …….. 10
- R2 …….. 220
- R1,R4 …. 1K
- R3 …….. 3.3K
- TO-220 Triac pads are for top-view orientation : A1-A2-Gate
- J1 …….. 1) Gnd., 2) On/Off, 3)V+ (5-12V)
- Note: R2 is emitter-follower. Size for desired LED drive current.
- I.e., if driving `On/Off' with 3.3V and you want 10mA then -> (3.3 - .6(be)) / .01A = 270.
- and… HEATSINK that triac! :-)
