Thanks for updating the MacOS release....
I have given it a few tries and have some feedback.
First on my MacBook Pro with retina display there continues to be an issue with the resolution...
Either I set the machine to max res then open the app and the reduce resolution or I have found
by getting info on the app and clicking in the 'open in low resolution' box to work.
If I don't do this the app opens but everything is offset and skewed to the bottom left.
Second I have had several hang-up of the application while doing auto supports....I suspect a memory issue
as it happens more often when you specify alot of support. light support density seems to work much of the time.
Also the brace feature seems to lockup even more....again more when there is more support
Both processes seem quite slow again makes me think it might be memory intensive..but slow is ok if it doesn't crash.
I would request a few new features here...
A way to marry the support bottom layers (Dbots)
A way to ask braces to have multiple vertical towers...or at least 3 when desired as that makes support towers much more stable.
Add some slope on the Dbot layers to make them easier to pry off bed.....important in the case where Dbot layers are married
Also I have not gotten angled supports to work...I see the check box for it (seems in an odd place) but I assume it is just not
implemented quite yet.
Thanks for the effort....it gets better every release.
P.S. could we get some description of the parameters used in auto support...I have kinda figured them out with trial and error but I can't figure out the intended meaning of the cover area parameters based on what I gathered.

Thank you for the feedbacks. Feature requests has been added.
We are going to simplify parameters and improve auto support on the next version.
By the way, it does not crash just freezes right?
Offline
Correct ... It freezes...it never completes at least not in the many minutes I left it. The progress bar stops.. Application can however be quit so it is not 'crash' just the process is frozen with now easy way to stop and return to operation.

Just a single STL file cause freeze or any file which you have tried? Also if it is possible share one STL file causing this behavior.

I will drum up a problem file tonight and send it... I tried several files all but a few caused the freeze. I did get a couple to complete but the support was not great (but much improved) so I just went back to my old way.

Next version support will be much better in terms of preventing support excessive contact with models.
