I've just replaced my A4988 with TMC2100 5V on my mUVe 3D printer. I can confirm, these new drivers are absolutely noiseless! I am very happy with this improvement, because my printer is sitting in my home and now the only sound from the printer come from the projector fan!

P.S.
The only thing you must do after replacement is changing the step direction of the motors in Marlin firmware and set the current with the little screw on the drivers.

I read with interest your post and want to ask you about your tilt setup. As I uderstand you are using a stepper motor to go from X0 to X-4 to move the vat up and down. How is performed the initial homing of the X motor? I mean when you start the printer, do you execute G28, and do you have a limit switch for the X?

Thanks Shahin, I will make a new scaning with more cells and will test how the mask will work. My current mask is just a quick test to see how the mask generator work.

Hello to all, thanks for this useful information. I intend to do a measurements and make a mask for my DLP printer. The printer is modified mUVe 3D, Raspberry Pi 3, Arduino Mega and RAMPS. I have purchased a VEML6070 UV sensor

My question is how to wire the UV sensor - Is it possible to connect the module to my Raspi or Arduino or I will need to buy another Arduino and use the module like dedicated unit? If there are a option to wire the UV sensor directly could you advice me how to do it - which pin, etc.

As I know the better way to control stepper motor is using Ramps board instead of direct control via RasPi. I have a mUVe 3D printer, it is open source and you may check on mUVe web site how to wire Raspberry, Arduino, Ramps and stepper drivers.
