Good morning,
It seems that was a problem with the RAMPS control board. I downloaded again the firmware and was fixed.
Thank you for your support.
Good evening,
When the machine is not printing, I'm having an issue everytime I enter the Z axis control menu tab.
The axis goes up 50mm. If I change to another tab and enter again the Z menu, another 50mm are added. The axis goes up and I have to reset the RAMPS controller to avoid crashing the spindle.
Find enclosed the debug info.
Where is the problem?.
Thank you for your answer.
Best regards.
OK. Thank you.
Here my debug information with 1% override
Here my debug information without override
nanodlp_no_override.zip
OK, I'll share my debug file as soons as I arrive home.
This is the image when override X/Y resolution is 1,0
2.tiff.zip
This is the image when override is 0,0
1.tiff.zip
Still having problems when I need to override the X/Y resolution. When I use 1,0 the image goes so large that the whole image is white. I'm not having override problems. I can see it by pressing the layers button.
The formula you wrote some lines above is valid?
resolution / (1 - percentage/100)
I'll check HDMI settings.
Could you check the problem with white image with low values of override?
What do you mean with overscan?
Also, with the positive values of override (around 1%) the image is completely white
Sorry to say so but still not working.
X/Y resolution 41,66 Override x/y 0 x/y model size 0
The part should be x=20 y=20
Part printed x=19,81 y=20,00
So I've to enlarge in the x axis by 100,959%
Using this value in the formula above it results in a negative value -0,00959 affecting the resolution.
Does makes sense a negative value?
Any other way to calculate the percentage to override in an easy way?
How this resolution modification affects the actual size of the part?
Good night,
I'm still struggling to calibrate my printer. I recreate the plate whenever I make a change in any parameter, but still not complete success. I need to make my part smaller. I'm using Override x/y parameter.
With Override x/y -2,5 and x/y model -3,5 the part is X=20,49 Y=20,38
With Override x/y -3,5 and x/y model -3,5 the part is X=20,36 Y=20,30
With Override x/y -4 and x/y model -3,5 the part is X=20,44 Y=20,35
The part should be X=20 and Y=20.
By making Override x/y more negative, the part should be smaller, but It doesn't. When I reach -4, the part starts to be bigger.
Which is the problem?.
Which is the procedure should I follow to get the printer calibrated?.
Thank you.
Thank you for your reply.
Do you mean is necessary to recreate the plate?.
Does this affect only to resolution parameter, or applies also to override?.
Hi,
I'm using build 1382. Neither X/Y resolution nor Override X/Y resolution have any effect on the actual size of the resin part.
I've changed override from -100 to 100 and the result is the same.
My X/Y resolution is 41,66. I've changed to 20 and to 80 and the size doesn't moves.
I'm currently printing with your beta version.
Still some Json file not found messages on the log but the printer works.
Thanks for your support.
I'll try with the new beta version.
The part files worked on the mUVE version. I started a print, the printer moved to the position and the layer was shown on the projector. (It needs calibration for the scale).
I'll send the folder /home/pi/printer/db
Hi,
The first link are the part files in different formats.
The second link is a screenshot of the log.
I have to add that the calibration plate is not properly generated.
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
I'm trying to use SLC files but the preview layers are always black.
Any special merge contour option in Stomp?
The log reports Json error after plate is processed.
Regards.
