#1 Feature Requests » Mask - Preview Existing Mask » 2017-10-18 13:02:28

When going into mask generator, the page automatically generates a new mask (100% white) and it appears that it is this mask that is used when doing a preview.

If a new mask has not been generated, can you use the existing mask instead of a blank / 100% white mask which I believe is what is happening now.

I need to be able to re-test a mask and right now I can't do that without completely regenerating it again.

Also, can you add the ability to save a mask ?

Thanks

Update
=====

A few other things, it would be REALLY nice if the page loads the old mask definition and add a button to clear the values.

Is running off the server because of the CPU load in generating complex supports ??

OOps, OK I see now, when you click the add button, the source can be a zip file previously downloaded / exported.

nanodlp latest build is consistently crashing while generating slices.

At the point it crashes, the page shows the CPU rises to 110%, memory usage peaks at 29%, temperature 57.8 degrees, and it then crashes at slice #616 with no further errors in the log.

How can I further debug this to find the potential cause ??

Thanks

How can I export and import plates from one nanodlp to another ??

I see there's a db/plates.json where the id is the name of the public/plates folder, but how can I export a complete definition and import into another ?

If this is not supported by the UI then I am ok using bash etc, just need to know which files to copy ?!

Thanks

Hi;

I have a flat-bottomed electronic housing that's approx 50mm x 80mm x 10mm high, with a couple of 90 degree 3 - 5 mm overhangs.

I want to print the base on the plate and don't want the entire structure lifting up, and only add supports to the overhangs, but I can't seem to do this.

The editor refuses to allow the item to sit on the bed and even if I override the z offset, it gets reset back again.

So how can I force the editor to locate the bottom of the object on the plate and only add supports from the plate to the overhang ?
