It would be nice for doing some of the notifications and scripts I am using to have access to more [[variables]] in all the sections. I am more interested in something like "Job Title" that can be used when I send a start or stop notification using pushover.

The Plate Title and Plate # (I have a post processing script I run using the job#)
Would round out the features if there was a pre-execution and post execution external script that could be called for the Slicing process.

I do not think it is necessary to have pre/post execution scripts as you can already done such thing with separate program by watching for new files.
You can try the beta version for new keywords.
