When looking through the plate layers since my machine has a tall but narrow plate dimensions but most screens these days are wide but not tall I find
that the entire plate is not visible requiring that I scroll up and down...the layer slider is often not visible when viewing things lower on the plate (not too
big of a deal as the arrow keys work)
I would like a way to either reduce the size of the layer view so I can fit it, or have it scale with the widow size would be even better.
Or maybe a rotate so I can better fit the 9x16 image on a 16x9 screen...

Maybe you could rotate display using config.txt. So you would not need to deal with tall display.

but would that not cause the image to be rotated on the plate? or does it only affect the display on the monitoring computer?
I am using an lcd based printer so I thought the display setting has to match the way the lcd is configured?

You need to switch both setup width and height values and change config.txt to rotate image.
As I know you should not experience any issue.

I will give that a try ... Thanks

So no luck getting the layer preview to be rotated without breaking how the printer works...maybe it is due to the LED/LCD combo vs DLP or SLA
So I would still like a rotate (even just 90 degrees) in the layer view or if it is easier a slider to scale the layer view...both would be good and either would resolve
the problem of the wide screen and the tall printer....actually the scale just with steps of 100/50/25 % might be enough.
Thanks

I'm also having the same issue...
The raspberry pi does not seem to like the exchanged width/height resolution, so nothing is displayed when I changed this in config.txt...
The problem is that the display is 1440 x 2560 (width x height), and so NanoDLP displays it correctly (tall on the page), which makes it impossible to view the layers without scrolling. With a projector this would not be an issue since once can configure NanoDLP to display 2560x1440 (width x height) and then the projector controls can be used to display the correct orientation in the printer, but with an LCD this is not possible, there are no additional controls! Since the raspberry pi does not like a 2560x1440 display, (width x height), then there is no solution other than allowing NanoDLP to preview rotated and/or scaled.
Also, is there a way to step through the layers using the keyboard? this is not working for me... using Google Chrome on a Mac...
Thanks!

FYI: I can step through layers using the arrow keys on my Mac....using chrome..It is kinda slow and unless you are at a part of the model where layers change significantly hard to tell it is working.

Will fix the preview height issue shortly.
Darren,
Try open inspector and see what causing the problem. It could be a network issue.
