rs232 projector control problem

Hi, Shahin,

I'm trying to control my accer projector throw USB serial

when I connect the rs232 and check with ls /dev/ttyUSB*
ttyUSB0 appears

Also, I had checked the projector manual and found the commands as follows in the screenshots,
But it doesn't work !!

but when I try using creation work with my laptop it works well.

Did my rs232 require any additional drivers for RPi?

Re: rs232 projector control problem

The configurations are correct, try another adapter maybe it is not working correctly on rpi/linux.

There is a CD driver coming with it, and there are drivers for linux, but those drivers is for fedora and red hat

which drivers should I install in my rpi system if it would help?

Or I should find a new one that supported by rpi/linux directly?

Re: rs232 projector control problem

I think I found where the problem is!

I tried to install nanodlp in a raspbian, not the nanodlp version that based on lite, and it worked well!!
I think there are missing config files on lite that are required for rs232
