Stepper motor control over SPI

HI,
In order to have a good speed and avoid a GRBL I would be interested if I can use a L6470 stepper motor driver.
I would like to help to implement it if is possible.

BR,
Daniel

Re: Stepper motor control over SPI

Unfortunately nanodlp does not support SPI. But you can write your own program and call it through nanodlp for the movements.
If this type of drivers gets popular I will embed SPI support into nanodlp itself.

Thank you, if I can integrate with an external script or program it's great. Do you have a reference for calling external script ?

Re: Stepper motor control over SPI

Sure it is easy as using Exec keyword on gcode box or using execution inputs on setup and profile pages.
You can checkout nanodlp's internal help for more information.
