After following the Simple Downloading step-by-step and powering on my Raspberry Pi, my Pi runs through some initialization and then goes to a black screen which I can type on but does not run commands. Is this what is supposed to happen? Am I only supposed to be able to control the Pi via Wi-Fi connectivity? I am unable to find my Pi when visiting the Online Dashboard, although this may be because I am running my Pi off of my university's network. I plan to try again on my home network later today.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, it will make display blank as the hdmi port should be connected to a projector. You can control rpi through Wifi or Ethernet.
Nanodlp needs internet connection to post ip information to online dashboard.

After connecting to the Wi-Fi, I am able to see my printer on my local network. However, I am unsure on how to set up the "Online Access Key". Is this to be done on the Raspberry Pi or is there somewhere else on the nanoDLP website to do this?
Thanks!

You can setup it on nanodlp setup page. It is very barebone feature.

The only way I have been able to see that screen besides the picture located on the dashboard tab is in the demo tab, which I am unable to change. How do I open that page for my printer?

You need to connect to your raspberry ip address and not nanodlp.com website. Follow muve3d guide on how to use nanodlp. It is available on download page.

Is it possible to connect the RPi to a computer via ethernet and have the computer connected to the wif-fi, providing a bridge connection to the RPi?
