I've battled with this error for a while now and only saw one or two similar issues, and cannot for the life of me find clear answers?
maybe im tired now since its early morning...... So if somebody could be so kind to make this clear to me..

this is what happens, everything seems to be fine until i want to print. it is not the arduino board since it functions normally when used on a different fdm printer.
Offline
Usually it is related to cable or hardware faults.

thanks Shahin
will this be specifically the cable between the arduino and rpi?
regardless i have replaced all cables and changed arduino board.
could it be the rpi then?
other functions work like z axis calibration, moving up and down, homing z etc. lcd also previews projector calibration images correctly.
it happens when i start a print. it initiates the print, then shows that it
the first layer doesn't show on lcd and this is where it gets stuck, starting with the communication and terminal eof errors.
is this not profile related or setups?
Offline
You should not receive EOF at all and it indicate communication problem between rpi and arduino. Do you experience same issues with stable version too?
Offline
Hi Shahin
do you mean stable version as in nanodlp version witch is stable? if so i believe i only download he stable version.
what i have done now is run nanodlp through windows, so my wireless network and rpi3 is left out of the equation.
then the dry run runs smoothly with no errors and as gcode in profile is intend to do.
now could my network setup cause EOF errors? wifi being slow or bad or bad setup on router maybe?
or does the EOF error i see on my pc purely a live logging of what is happening directly between rpi3 and arduino board?
Offline
No, network could not be source of EOF errors. Try another RPi.
There are softwares such as minicom which could monitor traffic between two devices. But I doubt it helps with EOF issue.
