Latin names for plants
Hi, I think it would be helpful if the 'Mulan magnolia' (Picture of the day, 8th March 2016) was labelled somewhere with it's scientific name. The plethora of common names supports my point. Best. Richard Avery (talk) 08:50, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
Uploading many pictures
Hi, Iwent to many big sport events last 10 years. I have 1000s of photo's from the 2010, 2012 and 2014 Summer Olympics, 2015 European Games and many more sports events. What is the best way to do that directly to Wiki Commons (without using Flickr)? I'm experienced but I don't know.. With the UploadWizard you have to label all the pictures 1-by-1 with titles, categories, description etc. I'm not going to do that. Is it not possible to have something for all the images? Many time when using the UploadWizard there is an error and you have to start all over again. Is there an upload system for the pictures on my Iphone? The UploadWizard for more than 1 picture is not possible with an iPhone, because it get's the error because they have all the same name.. Sander.v.Ginkel (talk) 22:10, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Sander van Ginkel, you might want to ask this question at either Commons:Help desk or more specifically Commons:Upload help. Given the potential number of images involved, you could also try Commons:Batch uploading. Best, --AWossink (talk) 09:10, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

1. On today's/July 1st's "Media of the day", I think the grammar could be changed, maybe from:
- A 3D animation which represent_ the second law of Fryette, one of the main basic_ of
themodern osteopathy.
to maybe something like this:
- A 3D animation which represents the second law of Fryette, one of the main basics of modern osteopathy.
2. I saw "Picture of the Day" has a link for edit requests, but I could not see similar for "Media of the day". Is this the right place for edit requests of "Media of the day?" Zeniff (talk) 01:01, 2 July 2016 (UTC)

- I changed the grammar. I hope it's okay? I left the edit request on in case someone wants to check it and also because I'm not sure if I asked about Motd in the right place? Zeniff (talk) 01:17, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
