For the Raven Node.
Bill of Materials
The following are needed to assemble one Raven Node. The minimum PCB purchase from OSH Park will be for three circuit boards; however, the rest of the components are for a single Raven:
- Raven PCB from OSH Park, note this should be 2 oz copper fill to support high current draw from the servos
- Shared cart of components from Digi-Key
- One Teensy 3.2 from Osh Park
The total cost is approximately $48 for one Raven Node or $105 for three.
Known Issues
- The connector spacing for UART, Digital, Analog, and I2C is too tight to allow for TE Connectivity Amp connectors, so straight breakaway headers are used instead
- The trace for 5V supply to the UART and I2C connectors is small, only low current modules should be used
- The silkscreen for Servo Power Polarity is obscured by the screw terminal block
