UFactory.cc has designed a promising DIY robot arm that is able to lift over 300gm using standard hobby Servo’s. The Robot Arm has 4 degrees of freedom at the moment but I can see it being modified to be even more flexible.
The Design is based on one of the fastest palletising robot mad by ABB (Model IRB 460)
