OpenBeam Kossel Pro – A new type of 3D Printer
Terence has hand-picked an amazing team for his second Kickstarter adventure…
The list is as follows:
Terence Tam (Leader of the pack) – Openbeam Aluminium extrusion. Amazingly versatile and reusable.
Matthew Wilson – Brainwave All in one electronics board for 3d Printers. Made in Seattle,USA at Metrix makesspace.
Johann Rocholl – Original creator of the Rostock and Kossel 3-armed delta 3d Printers.
Matt Westervelt – Owner of the Matrix Makerspace where all the magic is happening.
The idea behind the Kossel Pro is to make it easy to build and to keep the cost of parts down. Openbeam is a
very useful aluminium extrusion, but by adding injection molded parts costs are driven very low.
Injection molded parts and stamped parts offer better production scaling.
