Job description
We are a fast growing fabless semiconductor company looking for an ambitious, conscientious, and thorough Principal RFIC Design Engineer to join the Anokiwave team. You will be responsible for designing highly-integrated microwave and millimeter-wave RFICs in state of the art technologies. You will work with others to invent new circuit design and simulation techniques and will play an instrumental role in the growth and excellence of Anokiwave's IP portfolio.
The successful candidate should demonstrate proven capabilities in the following:
- RFIC and mmW design techniques including EM analysis
- Proficiency in complex, highly integrated circuit design
- Understands basic packaging effects on circuit design
- Capable of teaching junior engineers basic circuit and simulation techniques and fundamentals about circuit performance
- Knowledgeable about foundry processes and trade-offs between different processes
- Participates in suggesting design process improvements and ideas to implement such improvements
- Proficiency in test methods for measuring individual performance parameters and ability to setup and test individual circuits
- Proficiency in stabilization techniques and stability analyses
- Some experience performing peer reviews on other’s circuits and layouts and suggesting changes for improved performance or reduced risk
- MSEE with minimum of 7 years overall experience
You will work with an incredible team of IC design and test professionals developing state of the art products for 5G, SATCOM, and A&D markets. You will be part of a world class senior engineering team and will mentor other engineers in circuit design techniques.
