The KPA10 from API Inmet are fixed chip attenuators that operate from DC to 4 GHz. These attenuators are available in a number of attenuation configurations from 0 to 20 dB. They can handle an input power of up to 10 watts and have a VSWR of 1.30:1. These surface mount attenuators can be used in amplifier circuits, receivers, up/down converters, phase-matched arrays and switching networks. The attenuators use a proprietary thin film resistive element, alumina substrate and electroplated silver over nickel leads. KPA10 Attenuators are designed to reduce the signal power uniformly at different frequencies, temperatures and power levels.
