The BDA4601 from Berex is a 6-Bit Digital Step Attenuator that operates from 1 MHz to 4 GHz. It has an attenuation range of 31.5 dB and a step size of 0.5 dB. This 50 Ohm DSA has high linearity, low power consumption, and low insertion loss. The device features safe state transitions with No positive Glitch technology. The design is bidirectional - therefore, the RF input and output are interchangeable. The BDA4601 also has an external negative supply option. The control is a 6-bit serial interface and parallel interface. It is available in a 4 x 4 mm, 20-pin QFN package and is ideal for cellular base stations, military wireless systems, cable infrastructure and test equipment applications.
