The UF9978 from Mtron PTI is a tunable bandpass cavity filter that operates from 1025 to 1150 MHz with a 3 dB bandwidth of up to 4 MHz. The filter has a low insertion loss of under 2 dB, stop-band attenuation of over 80 dB and can handle an input power of up to 50 watts. It can be controlled using screw tuning mechanism. The filter is available in a module with SMA female connectors and is ideal for TACAN/DME air navigation systems and instrumentation applications.
