It is general linux thing and not specific to nanodlp. If you could not solve it by searching about the issue over the net, take image of your SD card and share it somewhere.

Very strange, do you have automount installed? Usually it get installed automatically by setup script if your rpi is connected to internet.
Yes, I checked and It is installed with the latest version!
Here what is happening,
I tried to install another fresh installation with noobs and select raspian stretch lite,
before installing nano dlp I checked if there is anything in /media and there isn't.
then I installed nanodlp throw advanced installation and checked /media again before inserting any USB storages
and there were too many USBs as the previous Image,
and after inserting the USB storage nothing changed and the files didn't show
Have you try restarting the system and test again?
of course, I even tried a new installation of the whole system
at the beginning, I have too much USB but the USB storage not working,
and when I delete them they never come back even if the storage is in or not, the /media dir became empty
Remove USB storage and run command below maybe these are stalled folders
sudo rm -Rf /media/usb*
Done, all the USB are gone and when I mount the USB again nothing happen neither in nano DLP or in /media no USB shown
Have you tried removing softlink?
You have too many USB storage listed on media folder.

Are you sure you get different shrinkage for x/y axis based on resin and not model itself?

Yes, the touchscreen module I made (I'm Tibus ;D) is done in node.js because I didn't have access to nanodlp source-code to put it in and I really like nodejs...
The code of Touchscreen is classic javascript/nodejs. Lean so Javascript, NodeJS, Gulp (why not) and ES2015 (javascript new standard) and you will be able to modify the TouchScreen code easily.Julien

it's just the UI and it's not updated. Nanodlp is unhappily not opensource.

Since nanodlp is an open source project, I asked my self why I'm just using it and I can't contribute or even make at least my own small changes!
also since all I know is python and a little bit of bash scripting, but nanodlp is based on javascript and node.js (if I understand correctly)
So I started learning javascript and node.js from w3schools
But It seems to me that after I finished an acceptable amount (in my opinion at least), I still understand nothing, and can't trace where the beginning and how things are work together
So my question is if anyone can tell me what topics I need to study, and how I can link them together I will be completely grateful.

How can I set a unique x resolution and another y resolution for each resin profile ?
The reason is each resin had different shrinkage coefficient,
and it's not homogenous for x and y.

Me i use this function when i test new resin, generaly i will print smaller base at 2mm over 1 mm thick and then very narrow wall at 0.5mm width. If you look at the bottom of your picture, i have the same but 10 times smaller. After that i will place different timing from 4s to 12 s.
After generate the plate i will look at the layer display and count the number of pad per raw, this to adjust my timing setup again to get one timing per raw. In clear, i have 6 pads per raw, so i will write the timing like this 4,4,4,4,4,4,5,5,5,5,5,5,6,6,6,6,6,6,.......Re generate and launch the print.
When finish, i will not clean my plate yet, and with the finger, will see what raw is the softer one, if it bent, move left or right.
This give me the target curing time for my prints. If my print have very large surfaces, i will increase 0.5 to 1 second my target. If my print have thin walls, thin supports, then i will stay at target time. If you want print proof faillures, then target plus 1 or 2s.Remember, soft curing will give you print not stable, so deformed print. hard curring give you good print and stable. Over cure will break you vat faster.
And I forgot, the top print on your picture is used for calibration. Measure x and y.

I think I found where the problem is!
I tried to install nanodlp in a raspbian, not the nanodlp version that based on lite, and it worked well!!
I think there are missing config files on lite that are required for rs232
The configurations are correct, try another adapter maybe it is not working correctly on rpi/linux.
There is a CD driver coming with it, and there are drivers for linux, but those drivers is for fedora and red hat
which drivers should I install in my rpi system if it would help?
Or I should find a new one that supported by rpi/linux directly?

but when I try using creation work with my laptop it works well.
Did my rs232 require any additional drivers for RPi?
