Most of the time all we need is to rotate the part for specific degrees like 90 or 45

I know that there is a freehand way  but it's tricky to adjust the files

Is there any way to do this currently?

and is there is a way to add more than one part together and arrange them so I can print multiple files in one print?


IS nanodlp support auto support generation or it should be done by hand?
and can we expect auto support generation soon?

Hi shahin,

Sometimes while adding a big file throw the network it takes a long time which sometimes be confusing,

If there is a way to for a progress bar or
Something telling the user if the file is uploading or if there is a problem.
And how much done from how and so on

It would be great

Here what is happening,

I tried to install another fresh installation with noobs and select raspian stretch lite,

before installing nano dlp I checked if there is anything in /media and there isn't.

then I installed nanodlp throw advanced installation and checked /media again before inserting any USB storages

and there were too many USBs as the previous Image,

and after inserting the USB storage nothing changed and the files didn't show

of course, I even tried a new installation of the whole system

at the beginning, I have too much USB but the USB storage not working,
and when I delete them they never come back even if the storage is in or not, the /media dir became empty

Done, all the USB are gone and when I mount the USB again nothing happen neither in nano DLP or in /media no USB shown

Hi, I'm having a problem with USB storage at all I think!

I've tried all the above and I can see that the USB doesn't exist.

when I'm trying ls /media I have the same result either if the USB is in RPI or not

and I tried another USB storage but no difference

I'm using the advanced install with stretch

The code of Touchscreen is classic javascript/nodejs. Lean so Javascript, NodeJS, Gulp (why not) and ES2015 (javascript new standard) and you will be able to modify the TouchScreen code easily.

actually, my question is still exist even if nanodlp isn't an opensource,

I need to learn the technologies that nanodlp based on

I know it seems a silly question but I'm totally new to javascript and node.js

also, I see that the touch screen master is based on node.js but I can't follow it.

Can you suggest topics that I need to study after the basics of javascript so I can understand what theas scripts are doing?

Hi, every body,

Since nanodlp is an open source project, I asked my self why I'm just using it and I can't contribute or even make at least my own small changes!

also since all I know is python and a little bit of bash scripting, but nanodlp is based on javascript and node.js (if I understand correctly)

So I started learning javascript and node.js from w3schools

But It seems to me that after I finished an acceptable amount (in my opinion at least), I still understand nothing, and can't trace where the beginning and how things are work together

So my question is if anyone can tell me what topics I need to study, and how I can link them together I will be completely grateful.
Note: my knowledge of web is very basic only

How can I set a unique x resolution and another y resolution for each resin profile ?

The reason is each resin had different shrinkage coefficient,

and it's not homogenous for x and y.

I've read your post about nextion, and you say that there is a coming version with add from USB support.

Is it will be here soon? When did can we expect it?

I need to make my printer a standalone, with all nanodlp features, So I'm now thinking of using the official touch screen of raspberry pi.

But I'm a little bit afraid of not working.

Is this achievable?

Is anyone try it?

I will be using raspbian stretch with desktop, and install nanodlp on it

Remember, soft curing will give you print not stable, so deformed print. hard curring give you good print and stable. Over cure will break you vat faster.

And I forgot, the top print on your picture is used for calibration. Measure x and y.

I don't understand what is the purpose of the cube measurement?
and what curing time for it, it appears and disappears with a sequence that I can't understand!

Also, how it deals with burning layers, is all have the same curing time or what?

I think I found where the problem is!

I tried to install nanodlp in a raspbian, not the nanodlp version that based on lite, and it worked well!!
I think there are missing config files on lite that are required for rs232

Hi, Shahin,

I'm trying to control my accer projector throw USB serial

when I connect the rs232 and check with ls /dev/ttyUSB*
ttyUSB0 appears

Also, I had checked the projector manual and found the commands as follows in the screenshots,
But it doesn't work !!

but when I try using creation work with my laptop it works well.

Did my rs232 require any additional drivers for RPi?
