    You can get the cells out of this kind of battery holder much more easily than the holders that open on one side only, but they do grip hard and cells can be held out of contact with the contacts at the ends.

    I found the Drago Magician chassis under-powered when using rechargeable NiMH batteries (the NiNH cells deliver 1.2V compared to 1.5V from alkaline batteries). This six cell battery holder fits between the decks of the chassis, and delivers a total of 7.2V.
